At DPSIS, student leadership lies at the heart of building a strong, vibrant, close-knit community built on care, collaboration, and connection. Developing student leadership skills has been a key focus of the institution and in 2014 a Student Council was instituted in addition to the traditional School and House captaincies offered to students. Our Council has a rich legacy of student-led initiatives promoting a caring community and creating positive relationships strengthening the bonds of a ‘Happy School’!

Celebrating the achievements

Celebrating the achievements of Adhavan Duraimurugan (Grade 7 C) and Nandhanaa Duraimurugan (Grade 5C), securing Silver at the 5th Asian Silambam Championship 2023 in India. Their stellar performance contributed to Singapore's second-place ranking among six countries, showcasing exceptional skill in Spear Rotation and Stick Fight events. 🌟🥈 Recognized by the Asian Silambam Federation and Indian Silambam Association, our students' prowess in this ancient martial art form garnered applause. Their success serves as an inspiration for others to explore the sport, fostering agility, kinaesthetic awareness, balance, strength, and speed. Looking forward to more remarkable feats from DPSites in the upcoming year!🏆⚡️

DPSIS transformed into a festive haven as laughter echoed through the halls during our heartwarming Christmas celebration! 🎄✨ Talented kids stole the show with enchanting songs, dazzling dances, and a skit that beautifully captured the essence of the season. The spotlight, however, was on Santa, who graced us with a surprise visit, spreading joy and leading an impromptu dance party with our excited students! 🎅💃 The school buzzed with the spirit of Christmas, marking a joyous prelude to the holiday break.
