Students must maintain a minimum attendance of 80% and cannot be absent for more than seven consecutive days without a valid reason.

Early years have a homeroom teacher assisted by support staff. For Grades 1 & 2, there are homeroom teachers for pastoral care and specialist teachers for academic and non-academic subjects like Art, Music, and PE. DPSIS offers robust career guidance and college preparatory program to help students make informed decisions about their future. Starting from the middle school years, students have access to career counselling services where they can explore various career options and understand the skills and qualifications required for different professions. We regularly invite professionals from diverse fields to share their experiences and insights. As students move closer to graduation, our school leadership team become more intensive. This includes assistance with college applications, SAT/ACT/UCAT preparation, scholarship searches, and guidance on writing effective personal statements. We also provide workshops on interview skills and resume writing. ACTVITIES:
Yes, we organize educational visits and field trips for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, including trips to parks, playgrounds, and various educational sites.

Beyond simply being a House member, students can take on various leadership roles. Each House has a Captain, Co-Captains, and Vice-Captains who lead the way in various activities and projects. Students can prepare for these positions by demonstrating involvement in House activities, taking on leadership roles in smaller groups or projects in the classroom and participating in intra-school and inter-school competitive events. Extra-Curricular Activities or ECA's are conducted to nurture the passion of the students and enhance their skills in the sports of their choice. The ECA's include Vocal and instrumental music, Cricket, Basketball, Soccer, yoga. Taekwondo, Chess, Modern and classical dance and many more.
At DPSIS we strongly believe that ECAs and CCAs are an integral part of education, not an add-on or option. Therefore, participation is mandatory and strongly encouraged.
The Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are school-organized and designed to complement the curriculum. The options are decided by the school according to the grade level and all students are assigned to the respective clubs for the year group.
All our ECAs and CCAs are conducted during school hours, which offers unique advantages:

ADMISSION PROCESS:
The admissions process at DPSIS is open year-round. After the enquiry is submitted, our admissions team will contact you to schedule a meeting with one of our counsellors. If your queries have been addressed in the admissions counselling, you may then proceed to submit the registration on our website. A payment of the registration fee is required to secure a provisional admission. Once you have generated the E-contract with the necessary documents, as a last step to the admissions process, you will be required to pay the term fee.
