In Feb 2024, DPS International School's inter-house music competition, the air was alive with enchanting melodies, pulsating beats, and a display of exceptional musical skills that captivated everyone present. As the four houses - Lake, Spring, Oasis, and Glacier - took to the stage, each performance was a testament to the diverse and remarkable talent within our school community. From soul-stirring serenades that tugged at the heartstrings to energetic rhythms that had us tapping our feet, the competition was a vibrant mosaic of musical expressions. A heartfelt shoutout to every participant who, with their creativity and courage, turned the event into a memorable spectacle. Our talented students took the stage at the Paya Lebar Community Centre for a dazzling performance to make the Chinese New Year community dinner an event to remember! The audience enjoyed graceful Chinese fan dance, the energetic rhythms of a Malay dance and a captivating Bharatnatyam performance with intricate footwork and storytelling. The true magic unfolded in the finale when all the dancers came together, their unique styles weaving into a beautiful tapestry of unity.  It was a powerful message of racial harmony and cultural exchange, reminding us of the strength and joy that comes from celebrating our differences. Our students’ performance was a true celebration of community, diversity, and the spirit of togetherness.
