Celebrating 20 years of excellence ! It is with great pride and excitement that we announce the 20th Founding Anniversary celebration of our beloved institution on Friday, 19th April 2024. This milestone is a testament to the unwavering dedication, vision, and collective efforts of our entire school community. To mark this auspicious occasion, we  organised a grand funfair , a day filled with joy, laughter, and the celebration of our students' talents.

In Feb 2024, DPS International School's inter-house music competition, the air was alive with enchanting melodies, pulsating beats, and a display of exceptional musical skills that captivated everyone present. As the four houses - Lake, Spring, Oasis, and Glacier - took to the stage, each performance was a testament to the diverse and remarkable talent within our school community. From soul-stirring serenades that tugged at the heartstrings to energetic rhythms that had us tapping our feet, the competition was a vibrant mosaic of musical expressions. A heartfelt shoutout to every participant who, with their creativity and courage, turned the event into a memorable spectacle. Their dedication to honing their craft and the boldness to share it on stage contributed to an atmosphere of inspiration and joy. This event was not just a competition; it was a celebration of music's power to unite us, evoke emotions, and create lasting memories. Our talented students took the stage at the Paya Lebar Community Centre for a dazzling performance to make the Chinese New Year community dinner an event to remember! The audience enjoyed graceful Chinese fan dance, the energetic rhythms of a Malay dance and a captivating Bharatnatyam performance with intricate footwork and storytelling. The true magic unfolded in the finale when all the dancers came together, their unique styles weaving into a beautiful tapestry of unity.  It was a powerful message of racial harmony and cultural exchange, reminding us of the strength and joy that comes from celebrating our differences. Our students’ performance was a true celebration of community, diversity, and the spirit of togetherness.

Our International Mother Language Day special assembly conducted by Grade 9 brought our school community together in a vibrant celebration of languages and cultures! Our skit took us on a journey, highlighting the power of multilingualism in bridging communication gaps and fostering understanding. The vibrant dance performance painted a captivating picture of unity in diversity. Our dancers moved in perfect harmony, showcasing the rich tapestry of languages and cultures that bind our nation. But the learning went beyond the stage as students reflected on the importance of their mother tongue in building bridges across generations, cultures, and races. This assembly was a powerful reminder that language is not just a tool for communication, but a thread that weaves together our identities and connects us to the world.  Let's celebrate the beauty of multilingualism and embrace the unique symphony of languages that make our world so rich and diverse!

As the curtains rise, our talented young performers will bring to life tales of adventure, friendship, and magic, captivating hearts across all ages. But the excitement doesn't end there! Following the spellbinding performances, we're thrilled to offer a hands-on Puppet Making Workshop. Participants will have the golden opportunity to dive into the art of puppetry, learning the craft behind these animated characters. From sketching designs to bringing them to life with fabric and strings, everyone will leave with their own creation and a heart full of memories. Join us for a day filled with creativity, learning, and laughter, where every puppet has a story to tell and every story inspires a world of imagination. it's an invitation to dive into the artistry of puppet-making using everyday materials like paper bags and plates. Participants got a chance to craft their own characters in a hands-on workshop. Guided by expert crafters, you'll transform simple paper bags and plates into vibrant puppets with personalities as unique as their creators. This workshop is not just about making puppets; it's about igniting imaginations, fostering creativity, and encouraging storytelling among our young learners.

A kaleidoscope of patriotism and promise! Republic Day at DPSIS commenced with our flag unfurling ceremony as our talented choir captured all hearts with their patriotic fervor. Each note celebrated the spirit of unity that binds us, reminding us of our shared dreams and aspirations. Grade 12 A Level performed a thought-provoking skit that transported us to a dystopian world devoid of the Constitution. Witnessing the lack of religious freedom, farmers’ rights, and racial harmony was a stark reminder of the values we cherish. Then, the stage transformed into a vibrant India, protected by the guiding light of the Constitution. This vision of hope inspired all students to contribute to cherish the democratic principles that promise a better tomorrow. As the assembly ended, a powerful message resonated - the responsibility to uphold the Constitution lies with each one of us. Let’s carry the spirit of Republic Day beyond the celebration, embracing tolerance, respecting our differences, and striving for a just and equitable world.
