This International Women’s Day, as the world celebrates the theme ”Accelerate Action”, we are thrilled to spotlight the incredible achievements of former DPSIS Head Girl, Eshita, Forbes 30 under 30, visionary founder of By Rotation, UK’s first social fashion rental app and the world’s largest shared wardrobe. For the second consecutive year, Eshita has been invited by the UK PM to 10 Downing Street, a testament to her groundbreaking work in sustainable fashion and entrepreneurship.
Just when we thought we couldn’t be prouder, Eshita continues to amaze us. From her impactful role as a panellist at the United Nations HQ for the annual UN Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network Conference, to championing sustainable fashion and innovation, she has revolutionized how the world views consumption and sustainability.
This Women’s Day, as the world rallies to “Accelerate Action,” Eshita’s journey is a powerful reminder that dreams do come true, and that DPSIS students are capable of extraordinary achievements.

Thought Provoking Question
All the school announcements and updates are communicated to the parents via school intranet portal and the CLASSDOJO APP. Some significant announcements and events are also updated on our school website. Rest is communicated via monthly newsletters.
At our school, we place a high priority on the overall well-being and mental health of our students. Recognizing that emotional and mental wellness are crucial for academic and personal success, we offer a comprehensive support system. This includes a team of qualified counselors and psychologists who are available for one-on-one sessions with students. We also conduct regular workshops and seminars on topics such as stress management, resilience building, and mindfulness. Our educators are trained to identify signs of emotional distress and provide immediate support or referrals when necessary. Additionally, we ensure a supportive and inclusive school environment where students feel safe to express themselves and seek help. Our well-being program is an integral part of the school curriculum, aiming to equip students with the skills they need to maintain good mental health and navigate life’s challenges.
DPSIS offers a robust career guidance and college preparatory program to help students make informed decisions about their future. Starting from the middle school years, students have access to career counselling services where they can explore various career options and understand the skills and qualifications required for different professions. We regularly invite professionals from diverse fields to share their experiences and insights. As students move closer to graduation, our school leadership team become more intensive. This includes assistance with college applications, SAT/ACT/UCAT preparation, scholarship searches, and guidance on writing effective personal statements. We also provide workshops on interview skills and resume writing. Our dedicated career counsellors work closely with students to identify their strengths and interests, helping them to select colleges and courses that align with their aspirations and goals.
